Frequently asked questions

Q: How do I buy a corset from you?

A: There are a couple of ways you can buy one of my corsets. You can set up an appointment for a fitting at my studio in Michigan, if you're local or willing to travel. If not, I travel all over the country for conventions. Check out my schedule to see when I'll be in your area!

Q: Where are you located?

A: I live and work outside of Detroit, Michigan.

My studio is at 20188 Williamson in Clinton Township, MI.

Q: Will you ever be in my area? How can I keep track of where you'll be?

A: Check my Facebook page for details on the conventions I attend. If you don't see your area listed, shoot me an email and ask about it. We're always open to working with conventions in different parts of the country!

Q: Can I order a corset from you without meeting face to face?

A: Unfortunately, no. In order to make certain your corset is perfectly fitted to your form, I don't sell corsets online without a face-to-face meeting.

Q: How did you get into corsetry, and how long have you been doing it?

A: I've been making corsets my entire life. I grew up at medieval reenactment festivals and conventions where period garb was key. Corsets fascinated me. I made my first corset when I was (x) years old, and I started Ties That Bynde (y) years ago. The most surprising part for me is that after all this time, I still love making corsets.

Q: I'd like to learn to make corsets. Do you offer classes?

A: Yes, I do. Shoot me an email or fill out the form below to ask about my small group classes.

Q: I have another question for you that wasn't answered here.

A: Ask your question by filling out the form below! We do our best to answer promptly, but during rush periods it could take up to a week for us to get back to you.

Thanks in advance for your patience!
